We focus on ensuring that our sessions of football are caring, inclusive and again FUN. Aimed at 4 to 8 years of age we cover the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, tackling and the rules of the game; all through a series of mini games which we’ve put together over the years.

What items of kit/ equipment will I need?

The only items we insist on are shin pads for our football bug sessions and a bottle of water in all sessions.

We will provide all other equipment for our sessions; tennis rackets, footballs, cricket bats etc.

Do parents need to attend and/ or join in?

The Mini Bug sessions are as much about giving you things to practice at home with your little one as they are us coaching them within the venue which they’re attending. With that in mind, we at least need parents, guardians or carers in attendance with the child.

For our other sessions, you don’t need to be there. We will have a register with mobile contact numbers so if you have other children to drop off somewhere or shopping to do, please do so. Just check with the coach before you do that we have an up to date mobile contact number.

What does my child need to wear?

Whatever they are comfortable running around in. Layers work best though so the children can dress up or down accordingly. You don’t need to rush off to buy expensive football strip – unless you’ve had your arm twisted of course!

How long are the sessions?

Mini Bug sessions run for 45 minutes. All other sessions run for 60 minutes.

Can I just turn up and pay for a session?

Unfortunately, you can’t. We run our terms for 10 weeks so we like parents to commit to the course. However, it is possible to join partway through a 10 week term and pay for the remaining number of sessions.
