Our club runs from Monday to Thursday each term and provides a fantastic variety of activities designed to spark interest, keep active, encourage teamwork, and develop new skills in a safe, supportive space.
At St. Martin’s After School Club, we’re committed to creating a fun, active, and engaging environment for all children. Our club runs from Monday to Thursday each term and provides a fantastic variety of activities designed to spark interest, keep active, encourage teamwork, and develop new skills in a safe, supportive space.
Our schedule is packed with dynamic sports and recreational activities, including football, basketball, tennis, tag rugby, dodgeball, multi-sport sessions, scooter rides, and exciting Nerf battles. Each session is led by experienced and enthusiastic coaches and hosts who ensure all children feel included, motivated, and part of the action.
Children only need to bring a snack and a water bottle to stay energized and hydrated during the session. We handle the rest, making sure all equipment and resources are ready for a fun-filled afternoon!
In addition to physical activities, we incorporate creative sessions that nurture different talents and interests, allowing children to unwind and enjoy time with friends. We aim to provide something for everyone with activities like; Lego, drawing, talent shows, quizzes and relaxing.
Whether your child wants to burn off energy with sports or try something new in a friendly atmosphere, St. Martin’s After School Club is the perfect place to be!

With temperatures hitting 34 degrees, making sure the kids stayed safe, hydrated and cool was our top priority all week. We made the most of every bit of shade possible during our outdoor sessions, with plenty of water breaks and rest periods to keep everyone comfortable while still enjoying the football fun.
In the afternoons, we headed indoors to Langford Sports Centre where the players could cool down, recharge and continue enjoying games, skills sessions and team activities in a safe environment.
It’s been fantastic to see so much energy, effort and smiles from all the children despite the heat. A huge well done to everyone who attended and gave it their all this week and thank you to all the coaches and parents for helping make it another brilliant camp! 💪⚽️

What a day! ☀️ Today has been the hottest May half term day we’ve ever experienced at our clubs, but our experienced coaching team have kept everyone safe, cool and having fun throughout the day.
At La Moye and Le Rocquier we made full use of the woodlands and sports halls, and at our new Jersey Bulls camp at VCP we’ve been lucky enough to have access to both the VCP Sports Hall and Langford Sports Hall to help keep children cool and comfortable.

What a brilliant first week it’s been at our Sports Bug x @jerseybullsfc Holiday Club 🙌⚽️
It’s been fantastic having the camp led by Jersey Bulls first-team players James and Rai alongside Michael, who is currently working towards his UEFA C qualification, creating a really high-quality experience for all the children. We’ve also loved having players from the Jersey Bulls Academy getting involved, coaching and supporting throughout the week.
A real highlight was the visit from Jersey Bulls first-team players Fraser Barlow and Jay Giles, which went down so well with the kids. There were loads of smiles, plenty of autographs, and a great atmosphere all round, so a big thank you to both of them for coming down.
We also gave out two signed shirts:
👏 Arran, for beating Fraser and Jay in the Crossbar Challenge
👏 Marlow, our Player of the Week, for his outstanding attitude and effort right the way through the week
Alongside that, there were plenty of other smaller prizes handed out across the week for different awards and great efforts, which the children absolutely loved.

At Sports Bug our mission has always been to give children the best possible start in sport while delivering the highest level of childcare, helping them build confidence, develop skills and most importantly enjoy being active.
Through this partnership we will be launching a brand new football holiday club, in addition to our existing Le Rocquier and La Moye camps and giving even more children the chance to learn and play in a fun, high quality environment.
Alongside our holiday clubs we will also be expanding our work in schools, growing our community programmes, introducing exciting Jersey Bulls toddler football sessions, and continuing to develop our after school sports provision across the island.
The project will be led by Rai Dos Santos and James Sunley, current Jersey Bulls players and valued members of the Sports Bug coaching team.
We would also like to welcome Jersey Bulls coach, Michael De Jesus, who will be joining the Sports Bug team as part of this exciting new chapter.

💙 Your Child’s Welfare is Our Top Priority 💙
Our holiday clubs are busier than ever with so many amazing children joining us each day. Because of this, we’re increasing and strengthening our dedicated Welfare Teams at both venues to make sure every single child gets the individual care and attention they deserve. We want all children to feel settled and at home when spending any time with us.
These wonderful teams are there solely to make sure every child is happy, settled, safe and thriving in our care. We know that, especially for parents of younger children, it can sometimes feel a bit daunting or even anxious leaving them for the day. That’s exactly why our Welfare Teams exist, to make sure no child gets left behind, unseen or unheard.
Our team spends the day checking in with children, offering reassurance, comfort and care. Whether that means helping with big emotions in the morning, offering nurture or simply giving a child a quiet moment if they need it, they’re there to make sure every child feels supported.
We’re really proud that our Welfare Team is led by Joelle, who has years of experience supporting neurodiverse children, and Layla, who is currently working towards her Level 3 in Understanding Autism. Together, they bring warmth, understanding and expertise that parents can truly rely on.
At Le Rocquier this week, our Welfare Team includes Megan, Evie, Layla and Joelle, and at La Moye, children will be greeted by Shannon & Hope. These friendly faces make sure your children are happy, safe and thriving each day.
We also have five more members of our Welfare Team returning from university, ready to join us for what’s shaping up to be a very busy and exciting Christmas holiday club!
If a child is ever upset, emotional or struggling to settle, our Welfare Team will always contact parents. So if you haven’t heard from us, you can rest assured that your little one is having a great day.
